Time ago I read an article about how millennials will become a frustrated generation since they (or “we”, not clear where the boundary is) have grown up being told to be special and so, whatever they do with their life, it must be special or meaningful to the world.
I am not going to debate the article, but it made me think about the opposite reality where I grew up: a small town in the countryside where everything alludes to a specific practicality and probably, that’s why I never considered Arts as a possibility for living (in spite of my passion for drawing, photography and other related subjects).
However, after years of trying different jobs and environments, I could not really feel comfortable anywhere: always stuck between work and public transport. Finally, I made my mind up and decided to express my feelings in the video you see above named “Keep your feet in the ground”, for that core idea about always taking the responsible choice.
