Tan difícil de abrazar como de olvidar.
I used to work in Buenos Aires between 2014 and 2015. I thought the cultural shock would be minimized since I speak the language, but I was wrong. Wrong assumption, not wrong decision. Growing in a town of barely four thousand inhabitants, the ten-million-people size of Buenos Aires exceeded my expectations of what a metropolis can be. The same happened with distances, which became much more relative after travelling in South America.
The lands I saw are wild and wide. The people I met are real. That experience opened my mind and my senses. Like that cliché says: travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.
