Many of my university colleagues will agree with me when I say the subject of “Modelling and Animation” was an intense one: not for the content which was really interesting, but for the little time we had and the big amount of information to process (both us, the students, and our computers while rendering).

The activities we made pretended to show us a specific technique and due to lack of time, we didn’t have much margin for creativity. However, in my exercises I always tried to fulfil the objective with a personal touch and (at least) I realised how important sound may be in Storytelling. In the video above, we learnt to simulate rain, bubbles and smoke through 3D particles.
